These Professional Community Standards (Standards) establish the rules and expectations for all members of the VeriDeal community.

By using VeriDeal, you agree to follow these Standards. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

1. Verification Integrity

1.1 Truthful Deal Reporting

You must:

• ✅ Report only real, completed deals
• ✅ Provide accurate deal sizes, dates, and details
• ✅ Use correct buyer contact information
• ✅ Represent your actual role in the deal

You must NOT:

• ❌ Fabricate or exaggerate deals
• ❌ Inflate deal sizes or misrepresent terms
• ❌ Submit duplicate deals under different accounts
• ❌ Claim credit for deals closed by others
• ❌ Provide false buyer information to manipulate verification

Consequences: False deal reporting may result in:

• Immediate removal of the deal
• Loss of all verified deals and reputation score
• Permanent account termination
• Potential legal action for fraud

1.2 Buyer Verification Standards

Buyers must:

• ✅ Provide honest, accurate verification responses
• ✅ Rate sales representatives fairly and objectively
• ✅ Base reviews on actual business interactions

Buyers must NOT:

• ❌ Provide false verifications for friends or colleagues
• ❌ Deliberately sabotage sales representatives with false negative reviews
• ❌ Accept payment or compensation for verifications
• ❌ Verify deals that didnt occur

Consequences: Buyers who provide fraudulent verifications will be:

• Permanently banned from the platform
• Have all their verifications invalidated
• Reported if criminal activity is suspected

1.3 Collusion and Manipulation

Strictly prohibited:

• Creating fake buyer accounts to verify your own deals
• Coordinating with others to falsely verify deals
• Using VeriDeal employees or contractors information without authorization
• Gaming the verification system through technical exploits
• Buying, selling, or trading verifications

Consequences: Collusion results in immediate permanent ban and potential legal action.

2. Professional Conduct

2.1 Respectful Communication

Expected behavior:

• Treat all members professionally and courteously
• Use appropriate business language
• Respect different perspectives and backgrounds
• Provide constructive feedback when appropriate

Prohibited behavior:

• Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
• Discriminatory language or behavior based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, age, or national origin
• Personal attacks or ad hominem arguments
• Threats of violence or harm
• Stalking or unwanted contact after being asked to stop

2.2 Spam and Unwanted Communication

You must NOT:

• Send unsolicited bulk messages or connection requests
• Repeatedly message users who have not responded
• Use VeriDeal messaging for unrelated commercial solicitations
• Send the same message to multiple users indiscriminately
• Use automated tools to mass-message users

Best practices:

• Personalize connection requests and messages
• Respect no or non-responses
• Keep communications relevant to the VeriDeal platform purpose

2.3 Appropriate Content

Permitted:

• Professional profile information
• Accurate deal descriptions
• Business-related achievements and credentials
• Relevant industry insights and commentary

Prohibited:

• Sexually explicit or suggestive content
• Violent, graphic, or disturbing imagery
• Illegal or regulated goods/services
• Hate speech or extremist content
• Misinformation or deliberately false information

3. Account and Profile Standards

3.1 Authentic Identity

Requirements:

• Use your real name (no pseudonyms or fake names)
• Provide accurate employment history and credentials
• Maintain one personal account (no multiple accounts)
• Keep profile information current and truthful

Prohibited:

• Impersonating others (individuals, companies, or brands)
• Creating fake or misleading personas
• Operating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Misrepresenting credentials, titles, or experience

3.2 Profile Content Standards

Your profile must:

• Contain accurate, verifiable information
• Use appropriate profile photos (professional headshots recommended)
• Avoid misleading job titles or company affiliations
• Not contain promotional content unrelated to your professional background

Prohibited profile content:

• Fake credentials or certifications
• Misleading or deceptive work history
• Contact information for spam or phishing purposes
• Links to malicious websites or scams

4. Sales Trainer and Affiliate Standards

4.1 Trainer Conduct

Trainers must:

• Accurately represent their qualifications and track record
• Provide honest assessments of students capabilities
• Not make unrealistic income promises to students
• Comply with FTC affiliate disclosure requirements
• Use only approved marketing materials

Trainers must NOT:

• Make false claims about student success rates
• Guarantee specific results or earnings
• Pressure students into upgrading or purchasing additional services
• Use student information for unauthorized purposes
• Engage in pyramid scheme or multi-level marketing tactics

4.2 Affiliate Marketing Requirements

All affiliates must:

• Clearly disclose affiliate relationships in ALL promotional content
• Use language like "I earn commissions from VeriDeal signups"
• Comply with FTC Guidelines (16 CFR Part 255)
• Accurately represent VeriDeals features and pricing
• Not make unauthorized guarantees or warranties

Prohibited affiliate practices:

• False or misleading advertising
• Spam or unsolicited commercial email
• Bidding on VeriDeal trademark terms in paid search
• Cookie stuffing or fraudulent tracking methods
• Creating fake reviews or testimonials

Consequences: Affiliate violations result in:

• Immediate commission forfeiture
• Termination of affiliate agreement
• Removal from affiliate program
• Potential legal action for fraud

5. Recruiter Standards

5.1 Ethical Recruiting Practices

Recruiters must:

• Use VeriDeal data only for legitimate recruiting purposes
• Respect sales representatives privacy settings
• Comply with applicable employment laws and regulations
• Provide accurate job descriptions and company information

Recruiters must NOT:

• Harvest contact information for non-recruiting purposes
• Send deceptive or misleading job offers
• Discriminate based on protected characteristics
• Use VeriDeal as a spamming tool for unrelated services
• Share or sell sales representative data to third parties

5.2 Data Usage Restrictions

Permitted:

• Viewing public sales representative profiles
• Contacting representatives about legitimate job opportunities
• Saving profiles of candidates for recruiting pipelines

Prohibited:

• Scraping or bulk downloading user data
• Using automated tools to collect information
• Sharing VeriDeal data with competitors or third parties
• Retaining data after account termination (except as legally required)

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Respecting Others Rights

You must:

• Only upload content you own or have rights to use
• Respect copyrights, trademarks, and patents
• Give proper attribution when required
• Obtain necessary permissions before sharing others content

You must NOT:

• Copy or republish VeriDeal content without authorization
• Use VeriDeal trademarks without permission
• Infringe on others intellectual property rights
• Post copyrighted materials without proper licenses

6.2 Your Content Rights

By posting content on VeriDeal:

• You retain ownership of your content
• You grant VeriDeal a license to use, display, and process your content as described in our Terms of Service
• You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this license

7. Security and Technical Standards

7.1 Account Security

Your responsibilities:

• Keep login credentials confidential and secure
• Use strong, unique passwords
• Enable two-factor authentication if available
• Immediately report suspected account compromise

Prohibited:

• Sharing account credentials with others
• Allowing unauthorized access to your account
• Using compromised or stolen accounts

7.2 System Integrity

Strictly prohibited:

• Attempting to hack, exploit, or breach VeriDeal systems
• Introducing viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Scraping or crawling the platform without authorization
• Reverse engineering VeriDeal software or features
• Interfering with other users access or experience
• Circumventing security measures or access controls
• Using VeriDeal services to launch attacks on other systems

Consequences: Security violations result in:

• Immediate account termination
• Reporting to law enforcement if criminal activity is suspected
• Legal action for damages
• Permanent ban from all VeriDeal services

8. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly forbidden:

8.1 Fraudulent Activities

• Identity theft or impersonation
• Payment fraud or chargeback abuse
• Falsifying verifications or reviews
• Operating fake or bot accounts
• Money laundering or financial crimes

8.2 Illegal Content and Activities

• Posting illegal content (child exploitation, terrorism, etc.)
• Facilitating illegal transactions
• Violating export control or sanctions laws
• Infringing on others rights
• Engaging in regulated activities without proper licensing

8.3 Platform Manipulation

• Vote manipulation or review fraud
• Creating artificial engagement metrics
• Coordinating inauthentic behavior
• Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities for personal gain

9. Reporting and Enforcement

9.1 How to Report Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Standards:

Report through the platform:

• Use the Report button on profiles, deals, or messages
• Provide specific details about the violation
• Include relevant screenshots or evidence

For serious violations:

• Threats of violence: Contact local law enforcement first, then notify us

9.2 Our Review Process

When violations are reported:

• Review: Our team reviews reports within 48-72 hours
• Investigation: We gather evidence and context
• Decision: We determine appropriate action based on severity
• Action: We take enforcement measures if violations are confirmed
• Notification: Users are notified of decisions (when appropriate)

Confidentiality: Reporter identities are kept confidential unless disclosure is legally required.

9.3 Enforcement Actions

Depending on violation severity and history, we may:

• Warning: First-time minor violations may receive a warning
• Content Removal: Offending content removed from platform
• Temporary Suspension: Account temporarily restricted (7-90 days)
• Permanent Ban: Account permanently terminated with no reinstatement
• Legal Action: Serious violations may result in legal proceedings

Factors we consider:

• Severity of violation
• Intent and context
• Users violation history
• Impact on other users or platform integrity
• Legal requirements

9.4 Appeals Process

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error:

• Submit an appeal to contact@VeriDeal.io within 30 days
• Include:

  • Description of the action youre appealing
  • Explanation of why you believe it was incorrect
  • Any supporting evidence
• We will review and respond within 14 business days
• Final decision is at VeriDeals sole discretion

Note: Appeals for serious violations (fraud, harassment, security breaches) are rarely successful.

10. Special Provisions

10.1 Beta Period Acknowledgment

VeriDeal is currently in beta. During this period:

• Standards may be updated more frequently
• Enforcement mechanisms are being refined
• We may be more lenient with first-time violations as users learn the platform
• User feedback on these Standards is welcome

10.2 Platform Evolution

As VeriDeal grows, we may:

• Add new community features requiring updated standards
• Refine enforcement processes based on experience
• Introduce new user roles with specific standards
• Implement automated moderation tools

We will notify users of material changes to these Standards.

11. Updates to These Standards

11.1 Modification Rights
